Previously, she worked as Assistant to the Director at Kent State University’s School of Art Collection & Galleries, where she managed staffing, scheduling, and the Art Rental Program, as well as contributing to exhibition installations and collection organization.

Tirzah’s installations and sculptures combine found and slip-cast objects with hand-sculpted pieces that explore themes of identity, anxiety, trauma, and the internal pressures of both societal and self-imposed expectations. These works have been exhibited nationally, including at the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA) conference, SPACES Cleveland, Kent State University Downtown Gallery, and the Mary C. O'Keefe Cultural Arts Center.

Founded in 1979, The Firelands Association for the Visual Arts is an independent, non-profit art organization in Oberlin, Ohio dedicated to enhancing public appreciation of and participation in the visual arts through exhibitions and related educational and community activities.
